Man allegedly breaks 66-year-old wife’s ribs in assault
An 80-year-old man is in custody after he allegedly broke his 66-year-old wife’s ribs during an assault this Sunday morning.
The wife was being treated for her injury when she reported that the fractured was caused when her husband kicked her side. She also reported that he had assaulted her three days earlier, as well.
The man was charged with second-degree assault and abuse of a household member. Aggregate bail was set at $11,000.
