Punahou sweeps, advances to boys state volleyball final
Ben Lam had 10 kills and Brandon Pitzer added nine as No. 1-ranked Punahou defeated Kamehameha-Hawaii 25-20-25-16, 25-20 in the semifinal match of the New City Nissan/Hawaii High School Athletic Association boys volleyball championship.
Punahou will play Kamehameha for the state title.
Punahou hit .422 compared to Kamehameha-Hawaii’s 105.
