A 51-year-old Punchbowl woman was arrested after an altercation in the parking lot of a Pali area shopping center Wednesday afternoon.

Police said they responded to the report of an argument involving two women in the shopping center parking lot about 3:10 p.m. The suspect apparently got out of her vehicle and punched the victim, 23, several times through an open car window.

The woman fled but was located at her home on Pele Street a short time later where she was arrested and then positively identified by the victim. She remained in police custody this morning.
