Pali Highway reopened after landslide
Kailua-bound lanes of the Pali Highway are reopened this morning after a landslide shut down the highway at Waokanaka Street.
Department spokesman Dan Meisenzahl said one lane had been open near the debris field at the hairpin turn, but motorists were urged to avoid the area while state road crews worked to clear off the dirt and rocks.
The landslide was reported at 4:40 p.m. There were no injuries or damage to vehicles. Crews were albe to reopen tha highway at abour 3 a.m.
