Man riding hang glider is rescued
A man in his late 30s was rescued Thursday afternoon after he apparently had a hard landing of his hang glider near Diamond Head, emergency responders said.
Paramedics took the man to a trauma center in Honolulu at about 5:30 p.m., said Ron Yamada, Emergency Medical Services spokesman.
His condition was not immediately known.
