Man injured after apparently flipping vehicle while offroading near Kaena Point
Firefighters rescued a man last night who had apparently flipped his vehicle while off-roading near Kaena Point.
The man, who apparently is in the French military, was found by bystanders who called for help, said fire Capt. Earle Kealoha. The call was reported about 7:40 p.m.
Firefighters drove an F-350 fire pickup about 300 feet past the end of Farrington Highway to reach the man and were bringing the man back to the roadside about 9 p.m., Kealoha said.
Paramedics said he was in serious, but stable condition.
