Women arrested after claiming to enter ‘uncle’s’ home in Hauula
Two women were arrested in Hauula on suspicion of attempted burglary after a man saw them allegedly breaking into his cousin’s home yesterday, police said.
The man saw a woman removing louvers from his cousin’s home at 3:10 p.m. yesterday as a 26-year-old woman acted as a “look out,” police said.
The 41-year-old man confronted the older woman, who said the home belonged to their uncle, police said.
The witness knew the woman was lying, police said, and officers arrested both women across the street for investigation of first-degree attempted burglary.
