Man seriously injured in fall from light aircraft
A man was seriously injured yesterday after he apparently fell from a canopy glider near the Wilson Tunnel.
The accident occurred just after 8 a.m. The man, believed to be in his 30s, was taken to a trauma center in serious condition, according to Emergency Medical Services spokesperson Bryan Cheplic.
A canopy glider is a airborne craft similar to a small hot-air balloon.
