Police make arrests in 2 copper-theft cases
Honolulu police have arrested two people in the last eight days for investigation of copper theft.
The two incidents happened in different areas of Oahu. Both suspects appear to be homeless.
Early this morning, police arrested a 39-year-old man in Wahiawa at the corner of Kamehameha Highway and Kilani Avenue.
At around 2:20 p.m. on Oct. 8, police arrested a 44-year-old man at 2083 Nuuanu Avenue, also on suspicion of copper theft.
