“Politics of Personal Profit” is D.C.’s theme of the day. The gap between productivity and pay has been especially pronounced in recent years, and, although productivity has grown at rapid pace with technology, wages/compensation of the typical worker has not improved. #BigMoneyControllingCongress, nothing changes!

Do you support the use of United States combat troops in Syria to defeat ISIS, or to end the rule of President Bashar al-Assad?

I am a product of the ‘60’s..Vietnam War, Woodstock, etc. No, not “combat” troops. Why give billions of $$$$$ away when we have a “WAR” right here in Hawaii. Our people are starving, children living on the streets.Why don’t we fight #WarOnHomeless/Poverty first!!

9/11/2001 … President Bush declares war on Iraq … “weapons of mass destruction”! Aug. 13, 2016, 15 years later … you tell me what should be done? Our own ‘war on poverty’ is still going on, getting worse.

#S33MyAnswersAbove! The 2015-2016 changes All this political rhetoric about “We WILL NEVER CUT SOCIAL SECURITY FOR OUR SENIORS”… just that. Sorry, but why all these questions of #WAR when a senior’s Part B medical was increased by $65! My mom’s $1,000 Social Security check is now=$935.

Should the United States recognize a Native Hawaiian government through an administrative rule or an act of Congress?

OHA spent over $27M of beneficiaries’ #TrustFundMoney on this issue. Trust funds could have been used for our #HomelessEducationalScholarshipsGrantsSick..yet went to #KanaioluwaluNa’iAupuni. Sure, a Hawaiian nation is part of #OHA Mission, but not through Administrative rule nor the Department of the Interior. #NoOneLeftToLiveInNativeHawaiianKingdom if issues are not taken cared of first!

Repeal it!

Should the federal government legalize marijuana?

Yes … Take it off as a Schedule One drug so the medical marijuana dispensaries and our sick who benefit from it can be “legal” and get off a ‘cash only’ situation … Black market, etc. The feds make it so difficult for our cancer/epilepsy patients to obtain good products.
