U.S. House of Representatives, special election 2010 warning of foreign money controlling future elections via Citizens United decision by U.S. Supreme Court. Did not win.

Ran against Diane Feinstein for mayor in 1982, did not win.

OccupySF counsel by General Assembly consensus, Underground Mayor of San Francisco and Ambassador Plenipotentiary at Large, honored by SF Tesla Society for work in genetics and service to the poor and homeless, unmercenary lawyer for the poor and oppressed since 1984, acknowledged as truth-teller by San Francisco “underground” and youth, producer of free concerts as and creator of radio transmitted concerts (PeaceQuake series) to obviate necessity of amplified permits, and assisted Family Dog and Chet Helms to produce Monterey Festival (I was in charge of three subsidiary stages and after-festival party for staff and performers).

What makes you qualified to be a U.S. senator?

Long unmercenary service on behalf of the oppressed, whistleblowing on corruption extending from San Francisco to Washington, D.C., and the selling of America by our politicians to Communist Chinese, and extensive knowledge of international law and affairs with resulting international respect from the street to the halls of justice.

Do you support the use of United States combat troops in Syria to defeat ISIS, or to end the rule of President Bashar al-Assad?

I cannot support war without full disclosure of security implications given senators, as I believe we have politicians and appointees in high places supporting Muslim jihad and would follow Lao Tzu in finding the weakest point and applying maximum force after diplomacy and warning of consequences if peace not possible.

Do you support the continued use of U.S. troops in Iraq, or should those troops be withdrawn?

I support the transition of aggressive military as only response to aggressive disaster response. As a returned Peace Corps volunteer from the World Health Organization Smallpox Eradication Program, I believe in fighting disease and dysfunctional political and economic policies to reinstill hope to all generations and people of the world.

Do you support the continued use of U.S. troops in Afghanistan, or should those troops be withdrawn?

In conjunction with the above answers, I believe that jihad must be stopped NOW with maximum force at their weakest link and that war against civilian populations to force government objectives must be stopped. We must not allow political correctness to allow infiltration of jihadists into America. NO SHARIA LAW.

Should the United States recognize a Native Hawaiian government through an administrative rule or an act of Congress?

I would like to see what is meant by “Native American government” first. What form and jurisdiction? What rights to be guaranteed and how representatives to other sovereigns would be chosen, empowered and created. Fundamentally, I love our Hawaiian ohana and demand our state motto be the guiding light.

What changes should be made to the federal Affordable Care Act?

The act has become unaffordable — a boondoggle for the poor and disabled and elderly and should be reformed with strict oversight to end fraud and the rush (to) enrich multiple physicians and corporations. Until we have the right to alternative and complementary forms of healing, I will not support it.

Should the federal government legalize marijuana?

Absolutely, as the research Nixon dismissed in 1970 and subsequent findings are compelling. In addition, everyone I talk to in the military has recommended cannabis as the only help for PTSD. I have used cannabinoids to stop cancerous lesions and seen results in others. We need this for humanitarian reasons.
