What makes you qualified to be a U.S. representative?

I have been self employed most of my adult life. I have hands on experience and know how to get people together to accomplish a goal.

I am not interested in career politicians and think there should be term limits.

I believe people can look beyond race and enjoy life.

Do you support the use of United States combat troops in Syria to defeat ISIS, or to end the rule of President Bashar al-Assad?

The idea that killing people will stop killing people is absurd.

Bullets for peace is an immoral concept, the region has experienced decades of neglect and rule of law has been all but forgotten on all sides of the conflict.

Experienced negotiations are needed to create change there, not war.

Do you support the continued use of U.S. troops in Iraq, or should those troops be withdrawn?

You will never be able to fully pull out. We have created a vacuum. Unlike Guantanamo, the withdraw of U.S. forces in Iraq will create a new round of insurgents and instability.

U.S. presence will be like Japan, eventually Iraq will let us know when we are ready to leave.

Do you support the continued use of U.S. troops in Afghanistan, or should those troops be withdrawn?

Same as Iraq or any other country we have removed the elected leadership, the consequence of our withdraw will undermine the mission to bring stability. By removing the leaders of a country the U.S. takes on that role as collateral damage.

The citizens of those countries deserve at least that.

Should the United States recognize a Native Hawaiian government through an administrative rule or an act of Congress?

Native Hawaiians deserve to be sovereign. How to create a nation and where needs to be discussed with the Native Hawaiian leaders.

200 years ago this was not an issue. Hawaii was Hawaii.

What changes should be made to the federal Affordable Care Act?

We should have a government subsidized health care system.

Health care should be free.

If you want better care you can have insurance to cover better facilities.

Should the federal government legalize marijuana?

Not only marijuana but hemp, Hemp is the real looser to the biggest lie ever told. Hemp restores farmlands and introduces nutrients to the soil.

Hawaii could really use commercial farming, hemp goes hand in hand with proper soil management. Our founding fathers all grew and consumed cannabis, legalize it.
