A steady stream of people visited Daijingu Temple of Hawaii in Nuuanu for New Year's Day blessings and to pick up omamori on Friday. The Shinto temple is taking online orders for the good luck amulets called omamori but items can be purchased on site. Visitors must wear masks and socially distance due to COVID-19 safety measures.
