Hilton Hawaiian Village reopens in Waikiki

The resort reopened after nearly nine months of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic, and welcomed its first guests — a couple from West Virginia —with a surprise upgrade. With over 1500 employees, the resort has only re-employed about 300 workers even with the reopening.
