The Board of Water Supply has announced the reappointment of two members to its board of directors.
>> Bryan Andaya is chairman of the BWS board of directors. He also is president and chief operating officer of L&L Franchise Inc.
>> D. Kapua‘ala Sproat is the vice chairwoman. She also is a professor of law and director of Ka Huli Ao Center for Excellence in Native Hawaiian Law and the Environmental Law Clinic at the University of Hawaii-Manoa William S. Richardson School of Law.
Kauai Island Utility Cooperative’s Nominating Committee has confirmed three candidates for its 2021 Board of Directors election March 13. Three of the nine director positions are up for election annually.
The nominees are David Iha, Janet Kass and Teofilo Phil Tacbian.
Members can also run for the cooperative’s board by submitting a completed petition form by Dec. 30.
