First Hawaiian to reopen Waikiki, Pearlridge branches
First Hawaiian Bank said today it will reopen its Waikiki and Pearlridge branches on Nov. 2 that were temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These branches were selected based on customer needs and are part of the bank’s latest phase of its reopening plan, as well as the state’s move to Tier 2 of its plan to ease COVID-19 restrictions.
The Waikiki branch at 2181 Kalakaua Ave. will operate weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The Pearlridge Branch at 98-1071 Moanalua Road in Aiea will operate weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will remain closed on Sundays.
Kupuna hours will continue during the first hour of business daily.
FHB also said its open branches on Oahu resumed regular business hours today with the elimination of a lunch hour closure.
The Waikiki and Pearlridge Branches will return to full-service operations including notary by appointment, wire, foreign currency exchange, customer engagement and servicing, business banking, and wealth advisory consultation. The Pearlridge Branch also will continue to serve as a redundant operations center during the ongoing pandemic.
Masks are required to be worn in all First Hawaiian branches and offices.
