Trump Waikiki, the Hawaii resort bearing the president’s name, is a hotel with five stars — and an asterisk.
It has figured in the tax returns just made public by The New York Times. Among its highlights: First daughter Ivanka Trump received $747,622 in consulting fees, the exact amount the tax documents show the Trump Organization paying for an unnamed consultant for the Hawaii and Vancouver projects.
That’s quite a fee — enough to cover more than a few nights at the hotel, posh as it is.
