VIDEO: U.S. Sen. Mazie Hirono takes your questions on the COVID-19 Care Conversation
Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) joined the COVID-19 Care Conversation to take viewer questions about the federal response to the coronavirus pandemic. Speaking from her residence in Washington, D.C. the Senator expressed concern about what she called a lack of oversight of the trillions in federal aid that has already been committed. She says her office is working to help small businesses in Hawaii get the money they need to stay afloat, and encouraged her constituents to contact her office if they need help.
Residents who have questions or need assistance can contact Hirono’s State Office at 808-522-8970 or hawaiioffice@hirono.senate.gov. Neighbor Island residents can call toll-free at 844-478-3478.
Sen. Hirono says she would like to see more rapid testing available and says she is working to make sure all Hawaii residents have access to healthcare during this challenging time.
