VIDEO: U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz joins the COVID-19 Care Conversation
U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz joined the COVID-19 Care Conversation to take viewer questions about the federal response to the coronavirus, specifically regarding the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
The senator says there are numerous provisions for Hawaii families, workers and small businesses in the $2 trillion relief package, and that the key right now is to get in line. Given the immense impact of the coronavirus on Hawaii’s economy, Sen. Schatz encouraged everyone who needs assistance to apply, even those individuals who have never asked for government help in the past.
