                                Police say that on Sunday, Jan. 19 at about 9 a.m., Jerry “Jarda” Hanel attacked his landlord Lois Cain and another tenant in the home on Hibiscus Drive who tried to intervene. Hanel then fatally shot Honolulu police officers Tiffany Enriquez and Kaulike Kalama, who were responding to a 911 call.

Police say that on Sunday, Jan. 19 at about 9 a.m., Jerry “Jarda” Hanel attacked his landlord Lois Cain and another tenant in the home on Hibiscus Drive who tried to intervene. Hanel then fatally shot Honolulu police officers Tiffany Enriquez and Kaulike Kalama, who were responding to a 911 call.
