The far right lane in the Makaha-bound direction on Farrington Highway has been closed this afternoon for emergency repaving, the Board of Water Supply said.

In an alert issued about 4:45 p.m., the water supply said the contractor closed the lane fronting Hele gas station near Waianae Mall to repair previous work that became compromised.

The previous repairs were for a 12-inch main break earlier this week.

Motorists were urge to drive with caution and to expect delays. Use alternate routes where possible.
