Impressive ceremonies marked the dedication of the Shinshu Kyokai Mission of Hawaii at 1621 S. Beretania
St. last weekend. A memorial service for the dead was held at 7 p.m. Saturday, and on Sunday the dedication
ceremony was conducted by bishops and priests of six Buddhist sects in Hawaii. Posing with the
sacred palanquin are Bishop Buntetsu Miyamoto of the Jodo mission, left, the Rev. Goki Tatsuguhi, priest
in the charge of the temple, and Bishop Kodo Fujitani of the Honpa Hongwanji sect.
