We have a president whose goal appears to be creating an autocracy by defying the Constitution.

What has always made America great is that the Constitution was the moral compass that the citizens followed. In it the founders made laws to protect the citizens from tyranny by forming the three branches of government. We have fought wars in which many lost their lives defending the Constitution.

Now the Constitution is under attack by a president who believes he is never wrong, calling his detractors “scum.” He is defying the law and claims he is being wronged.

Politicians of both parties no longer defend the Constitution unless it is to their benefit. The Republicans will defend the president no matter how blatantly he defies the morals of a just country. They are too concerned about their jobs and greed instead of the Constitution they are sworn to uphold and defend.

No one will compromise. If the government does not change, America will never be great again.
