Police arrest man who allegedly assaulted mom and barricaded himself in Wahiawa home
Police arrested a 21-year-old man after he allegedly assaulted his mother and barricaded himself in a home in Wahiawa.
The Honolulu Police Department’s Specialized Services Division responded to the barricade situation at a residence on Muliwai Avenue at about 1 a.m. today.
Officers shut down the road between Olive and Neal avenues until police took the man into custody sometime before 5 a.m.
He was arrested on suspicion of abuse of a family or household member.
No serious injuries were reported.
