John Fernie said that the Star-Advertiser and other media are unbalanced in their reporting on President Donald Trump (“Mainstream media blocks other views,” Star-Advertiser, Letters, Sept. 11).
There is no doubt that there is plenty of bias reported in the media. However, if Trump behaves in a certain way, and communicates in a certain way, those things could appear to some as “bashing” when in fact they are merely reports of the events.
The president of our country is going to be scrutinized. As long as he continues to behave and communicate the way he does, the media is going to lay it out there, as they should.
