Column: Huli kua ʻia ka ʻaha, ʻaʻole ke kanaka

RON PAUL / SPECIAL TO THE STAR-ADVERTISER

Supporters gathered in the lobby area of the courthouse in Hilo after the arraignment of TMT protesters on Friday.

Synopsis: Huli kua is a Hawaiian response to being wronged. In calling for Thirty Meter Telescope supporters to huli kua, the object is not individuals. We should direct our response to groups.
