2 seriously injured in 2-vehicle crash in Honokaa
Hawaii County firefighters recovered two people who were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Honokaa Monday morning.
Two people suffered serious injuries. One was pinned in a vehicle and suffered “life threatening injuries,” according to the Hawaii County Fire Department.
The crash occurred on Highway 19 at the 41 mile marker and was reported at 5:36 a.m. today. The first unit arrived at 5:42 a.m.
The section of highway was closed in both directions for over two hours.
