LIHUE >> A Hawaii beach park has reopened to residents following a $6 million repair project.
The Garden Island reported Wednesday that Black Pot Beach Park in north Kauai welcomed visitors Monday for the first time since the April 2018 flooding.
Officials say the repair project included a new roundabout, parking lot, drop-off and pickup zones, and landscaping changes to enhance the ocean view.
