Walter Ritte shook hands with Kahoʻokahi Kanuha as he left a tent which covered the cattle guard that he and six other Hawaiian activists were chained to for 11 hours to stop the construction of the Thirty Meter Telescope. Law enforcement released the seven individuals without arrest and left shortly after.
