I was really impressed with the concise and accurate reporting by Star-Advertiser reporters Dan Nakaso and Rob Perez of the Kealohas’ trial. As much as time permitted, I attended the trial of the Kealohas and the three co-defendants, and I always looked forward to reading the articles of these reporters afterwards, because I knew they provided the most accurate and comprehensive reporting of what transpired at the trial.
I was really impressed how quickly they could fully understand the testimonies, and have their articles ready for publication the next day. Nowadays, we get short snapshots of news that do not provide the full story of what occurred. It is crucial, and so refreshing, to read accurate, objective and comprehensive reporting.
