Celebrate World Oceans Month creating art inspired by the ocean and sea life with Paint For Your Soul, a series of community painting events Tuesday and July 13 at the Waikiki Aquarium.
“A portion of the proceeds will support our mission to inspire and promote understanding, appreciation and conservation of Pacific marine life,” said aquarium director Andrew Rossiter.
In addition to benefiting the aquarium, the event is also an opportunity for participants to receive expert tips from local artists while learning to paint a turtle (Tuesday’s class) and octopus (July 13 class).
“Paint For Your Soul is a family-friendly activity that’s perfect for kids and adults,” Rossiter said. “It’s a great way for families to bond while exercising their artistic muscles.”
