Hawaii-based Crazy Shirts has opened a new location at Lau Hala Shops in Kailua. The 1,300-square-foot store will celebrate its grand opening from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday.
Lau Hala Shops, which is the site of the former Macy’s, is a redeveloped retail complex that features restaurants, retailers and services.
Crazy Shirts, founded in 1964, employs over 300 people and operates retail stores on all four major islands as well as in California, Colorado, Nevada and Florida.

Bank of Hawaii has announced that Kevin Shimamura has been promoted to vice president from assistant vice president. He will continue his responsibilities as an Internal Audit Department audit consultant. Shimamura has 11 years of audit experience with local as well as national accounting firms. He joined Bank of Hawaii in 2016, and before that he served as a senior audit associate at KPMG in Honolulu.
Swinerton Hawaii Division has announced that Aaron Yamasaki is the new division manager for its Hawaii operations. Yamasaki joined Swinerton in 2012 and has managed projects such as Target in Ala Moana Center, PJKK Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach as well as Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa and the Westin Maui Resort & Spa renovations.
