Lynne Kobayashi is right about finding another site for the playground and not Ala Moana Park (“No compelling reason for Ala Moana playground,” Star-Advertiser, Letters, April 15).
Furthermore, the city wants to put in water features.
The city can’t take care of the one at Kuhio Beach on Kalakaua Avenue. What makes the city think it can maintain one at the playground? City directors, fix what you have now.
