Letter: Vote Republican to help Hawaii’s working class

I read in the Star-Advertiser recently that state legislators voted against a minimum wage increase for Hawaii’s workers while giving themselves hefty salary increases. It appears that the Democratic Party lacks compassion for the minimum-waged working class.

The party makes its campaign promises and once elected it’s the “same old, same old.” It’s time for the voters to wake up and oust these incumbents come next election. These same politicians bad-mouth our president when they should be working together toward the betterment of all.

These Hawaii legislators are the worst I’ve seen in my 30 years in Hawaii. Vote for a change in 2020. Vote Republican.
