Veteran comics Sarah Silverman and Larry Miller will join comedian and TV host Bill Maher when he returns to Hawaii for his ninth pair of New Year’s shows.
The trio will play the Maui Arts & Cultural Center on Dec. 30 and Blaisdell Concert Hall on Dec. 31, both shows starting at 7 p.m.
Silverman has been a mainstay on the stand-up circuit for more than 25 years but is also known for acting roles in “School of Rock” and the “Wreck-It Ralph” movies.
Larry Miller’s history in stand-up goes back to the 1970s with Maher and Jerry Seinfeld. He has made memorable acting cameos on “Seinfeld” (as a troublesome doorman) and the Julia Roberts film “Pretty Woman” (as a clothing store manager). Most recently he had a part in the Jennifer Lopez vehicle “Second Act.”
