I ask the Democrats to stand firm, no matter how many distractions, and obtain six years’ worth of President Donald Trump’s tax returns and the full unredacted Mueller report.

U.S. taxpayers deserve this knowledge to be available. Trump has many full-time attorneys working on his behalf to cloud the issues and provide misdirection. Both these issues are filled with initial lies: Trump will be glad to release his taxes once he is not under audit, or he will be glad for the full release of the Mueller report.

Now his chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney, says the public will never see Trump’s taxes. And now that word has gotten back to him about what is really in the Mueller report (not full exoneration) he doesn’t want the full report released.

Democrats, stand firm please! Don’t back down.
