Living in Honolulu is getting harder for the middle- and lower-class taxpayers. The homeless are a constant presence and our government has been unable to find a solution. Our homes and businesses are under siege. Lawlessness prevails and there’s not a thing we can do but keep going to work and try to provide for our families.
Sadly, the American dream has been afforded to those who have enough money to insulate themselves from the crime and grime while the rest of us dream of moving away.
