Damaged utility pole forces lane closure on Wilder Avenue
Police have closed the westbound lanes of Wilder Avenue this morning due to a damaged utility pole.
The two westbound lanes between Metcalf Street and Evelyn Lane were closed shortly before 4 a.m. after a motor vehicle accident resulted in damage to a utility pole.
Traffic in the area is being contra-flowed in the eastbound lane as Hawaiian Electric crews make repairs. Motorists are advised to drive with caution in the area.
