Asking people to pay extra fees for bulky-item pickup and the use of convenience centers is a bad idea.
You’re going to have “sponges” (people who refuse to pay), who will put their trash on a neighbor’s pile of bulky items, or they’ll dump it at shopping centers, parks or the sides of roads.
Instead of charging $5 per month for trash pickup, make it $7-$10 to include trash pickup, bulky item pickup and the use of convenience centers.
