Fixing the Arizona Memorial seems very simple (“Citing frustration, congressional delegation wants regular updates on Arizona Memorial work,” Star-Advertiser, March 12).
If the government can build a bridge from Kamehameha Highway to Ford Island, why can’t they just build a walk or bridge from Ford Island to the memorial? Then visitors who come from faraway parts of the world won’t miss out on visiting this remarkable once-in-a-lifetime memorial. Many won’t be back because of age, money or health.
Come on, President Trump: Build the bridge. The wall can wait.
