Stop funding the rail. End it at Middle Street. Our tax dollars are needed elsewhere.
In light of the recent landslide that closed the Pali tunnels, we need to divert our attention and resources toward fixing our decaying infra- structure.
More important than the rail would be the rebuilding of our eroding coastline roads that serve many rural communities. If any of these roads were to close, it would affect thousands. Even tourism would suffer because scenic routes will no longer be accessible.
Oahu has become an old broken- down island because of neglect. Should we continue this neglect?
