I disagree that “Hawaiian has advantage in interisland fare war” (Star-Advertiser, Letters, March 7).
Southwest allows two bags free and allows you to change reservations at no charge. Locals love to take baggage to the outer islands. Hawaiian charges $25 for the first bag and $35 for the second. That adds $60 to the price each way.
If you change your flight, Hawaiian charges $30 for interisland.
The writer is right about “loyalty.” Hawaii people are like sheep. They have trouble changing their habits.
