Honolulu-based Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union has expanded to Maui, beginning with a temporary branch that opened Feb. 6 in advance of a permanent branch in the Puunene Shopping Center later this year.
The temporary branch is at 137 Kalepa Place in Kahului. The Maui team includes Lili Ramelb, branch manager; Kerilyn Oshiro, branch supervisor; Kelsey Chin, member relations officer; and Roselyn Mondejar, member relations specialist.
This is the second neighbor island branch for Aloha Pacific, which recently merged on Kauai with Kekaha FCU. It is now known as Kekaha Credit Union and is a division of Aloha Pacific FCU. Aloha Pacific also has a branch in Henderson, Nev.
ON THE MOVE
First Hawaiian Bank has announced the promotions of the following three employees, who are members of the senior management team:
>> Ralph Mesick is vice chairman as well as chief risk officer of the Risk Management Group. Mesick has more than 30 years of banking and finance experience, including private banking, risk management, commercial real estate lending, wealth management and corporate banking. He joined First Hawaiian Bank in 2012.
>> Lance Mizumoto is vice chairman and chief lending officer. He is also responsible for the Commercial Banking Group. In 2017 he rejoined First Hawaiian Bank and served as chief lending officer and executive vice president in the Commercial Banking Group. He has more than 35 years of diverse banking experience, including wealth management, commercial real estate, commercial banking and trade finance with several financial institutions in Hawaii.
>> Mitchell Nishimoto is vice chairman of the Retail Banking Group. He has been working at First Hawaiian Bank for the past 30 years, while serving in executive positions throughout the company. His prior jobs include chief risk officer, executive vice president and region manager for the Maui and Kapiolani markets.
