Spend a memorable morning with your child building together and celebrating love at a special kids workshop, Saturday at The Home Depot in Honolulu, Kapolei and Pearl City.

“The Heart Candy Box workshop allows children to create a Valentine’s Day heart-shaped box alongside their parents for a fun Saturday activity,” said Melissa Brown, marketing manager for workshops at The Home Depot.

Store associates will guide children to create a keepsake to gift to their special Valentine or to keep to stash away all their sweet Valentine’s Day goodies. Once the heart is built, children can customize it with paint and stickers. All workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times.

“Children and parents will work together to paint and decorate the heart-shaped box and are guaranteed to have fun doing so,” Brown said.

In addition, children will receive a certificate of achievement, a Home Depot workshop apron and a commemorative pin, while supplies last.
