Hawaii is now under an app attack. Transportation, lodging, dining and more are being arranged through computers and smartphones.
At my business I’ve been having a daily battle over my parking lot with a popular delivery service run by an app. There is no way to contact anyone to get them to stop taking my parking from my customers.
People who are using these apps help to undermine the traditional way of aloha associated with our hospitality. Hawaii is becoming a free-for-all, allowing people with no sense of our culture to take advantage of our resources.
