First, President Donald Trump promised to make Mexico pay for his wall and failed.
Second, Trump had two years with his Republican Party-controlled government to pay for his wall and failed.
In the meantime, Trump’s tax cut was decried, but he was able to get it passed because his Republican Party controlled the government. So why didn’t then-House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell tack on his wall funding, when they were able to give away several billion dollars worth of tax cuts?
Third, Trump woke up after Nov. 6 to find that Democrats will control the House. He now holds government workers hostage just to blame the Democrats for his first and second wall-funding failures.
Trump baited, switched and pushed the blame away from himself. Why am I not surprised?
