Firefighters were on the scene with six units at One Waterfront Towers on South Street.

Firefighters are responding to reports of smoke inside a Kakaako high-rise condo this afternoon.

Honolulu Fire Department officials said there is no active fire but a 35th-floor resident of One Waterfront Towers on the corner of South and Auahi streets had reported smoke. The cause is possible electrical arcing in a wall, they said.

Six fire units responded about 1:15 p.m. but the two-alarm call was later downgraded to one alarm, according to an HFD spokesman.
