Honolulu police arrested a 43-year-old man Tuesday in connection with an early morning stabbing incident in Mokuleia in which a 75-year-old man was seriously injured.
The incident happened shortly before 4 a.m. The suspect was located about 20 minutes later in the area of Waialua Beach Road and Komo Street and arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder (attempted).
The victim suffered a stab wound to his upper torso and was transported by paramedics to a local trauma center.
