Our elected federal officials have again failed us or not bothered to do what’s best for our country.
They’re not going to stop the border wall, so fund it and let the government get back to work. Stop this childish “I don’t like it” attitude. All this is really doing is hurting our federal employees and the customers they serve. Without their pay, it won’t take long before they face creditors and landlord issues, and issues over food for the family.
So, instead of bickering over the wall, allocate funds now. If they really want to do something meaningful, change legislation about illegal immigrants and what the U.S. can/will/should do for or with them. Change the laws. To our elected officials, it starts with the question: What does illegal mean to you?
