Responding to the recent letter about the no-kids choice, I understand the writer’s concerns and gripes (“No-kids choice brings unfair tax burden,” Star-Advertiser, Dec. 24).
I also chose not to have kids when I was younger. That’s why I can visit beautiful Hawaii often.
But personally, I don’t mind paying my taxes, including for local education, since my parents paid taxes for my public school education. I would rather have educated kids helping old people than uneducated ones. Think about it.
